Valley of the Kings – Discover the Tombs of the Pharaohs

The Valley of the Kings is one of Egypt’s most famous archaeological sites and a must-see when visiting Luxor. Located on the West Bank of the Nile, the valley was used as a royal burial ground for more than 500 years, where pharaohs of the New Kingdom were buried in beautifully decorated tombs.

Today, you can enter several of the ancient tombs and see colorful paintings, hieroglyphs, and scenes of the journey to the afterlife. The most famous discovery here is the tomb of Tutankhamun, which can also be visited with an additional ticket.
