About the Tour

This private transfer can be arranged from Luxor to Aswan or from Aswan to Luxor, giving you the flexibility to choose the direction that fits your travel plans. Along the way, you’ll visit two of Egypt’s most remarkable temples: Edfu and Kom Ombo.

The journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in either city. You’ll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle, enjoying a scenic drive along the Nile.

Your first stop is the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Considered one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt, Edfu’s massive pylons, intricate carvings, and detailed reliefs provide a fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian religion, myths, and temple construction.

Next, you’ll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Located on the Nile, Kom Ombo is famous for its symmetrical design, detailed reliefs, and nearby crocodile museum.

Guides are not included in the tour, but a licensed guide can easily be added at either temple to provide detailed explanations about the history, architecture, and significance of these ancient sites.
