About the Tour

This experience begins with an early morning pick-up from your accommodation in Luxor, followed by a scenic drive south along the Nile. As this is a private transfer, your pickup time is flexible. However, we recommend departing between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM

The tour starts with a visit to the Temple of Edfu, which is considered one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. Dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god, the temple impresses visitors with its massive pylons, detailed reliefs, and remarkably intact structure.

After Edfu, the journey continues to the Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder. Situated directly on the Nile, Kom Ombo is known for its twin layout, fascinating carvings, and the nearby crocodile museum.

A guide is not included in the base price, as many of our guests prefer to explore the temples at their own pace. However, we highly recommend adding a licensed Egyptologist guide to get the most out of your visit. Guides are available in a variety of languages and can be added to your tour for an additional fee. Please let us know if you would like to include a guide with your booking.

Following the temple visits, enjoy a relaxing felucca ride on the Nile, offering a peaceful way to take in the beautiful scenery and experience the river's unique atmosphere. After the felucca ride, you will return to Luxor. If you would like to enjoy a meal after returning to Luxor, we would be happy to arrange lunch at a local restaurant upon request.
