About the Tour

Discover the highlights of Aswan on a private day trip from Luxor. This tour gives you the opportunity to experience some of Aswan's most important historical and cultural attractions in one day.

Your tour begins with an early morning pickup from your accommodation in Luxor. The exact pickup time will be provided before your booking is confirmed.

Travel comfortably by private vehicle towards Aswan.

Your first stop will be the High Dam, one of Aswan's most important modern landmarks and an impressive engineering achievement.

Continue to Philae Temple, one of Egypt's most beautiful ancient temples, located on an island in the Nile and dedicated primarily to the goddess Isis.

You will then visit the Nubian Museum, where you can learn more about the history, culture, and heritage of Nubia through its archaeological collections and exhibits.

Another stop is the famous Unfinished Obelisk, a huge ancient obelisk carved directly into the granite but never completed. Your guide will explain how the ancient Egyptians worked with the stone and why the obelisk was abandoned.
